Old Nana sat on her bench, listening quietly. The children, especially Tommy and Emily, crowded around her, eager for more stories.

"Nana, we saw him!" Tommy exclaimed. "The Phantom Thief came to our house last night!"

Old Nana raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Did he now? And what did you see?"

Emily held up the white feather. "He left this behind."

Tommy's eyes lit up. "Do you think we can catch him, Nana?"

Old Nana chuckled. "Many have tried, my dear, but none have succeeded. The Phantom Thief is always one step ahead."

"But what if we work together?" Emily suggested. "Maybe we can outsmart him."

The old lady smiled. "Perhaps. But you must be careful. The Phantom Thief is not someone to be underestimated."

The children nodded, determined. They spent the rest of the day making plans, gathering supplies, and setting up traps. As night fell, they felt ready.
